Cognitive Behavioral therapy

CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This therapy involves talk therapy that helps one identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. It is practical and goal-oriented for clients with issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD and more.

The basic concept is that thoughts lead to feelings, which lead to behavior. CBT helps clients recognize unhelpful or distorted thoughts, challenge them and replace them with more balanced, realistic thoughts as well as change behaviors that may be making the problem worse.

Our clinicians at Lotus Psychology Group are all trained in CBT and look forward to helping you make change.
